Days 42 - Regina memory tour
I asked my parents to meet us in Regina so they could show the kids some of the important landmarks from where they grew up, Regina and Moose Jaw
Next we went to Little Flower church where my mom attended church growing up and where my parents were
married. They are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year This is my mom’s childhood home. I spend many summers here happily eating my grandma’s garden peas, playing cards and walking down the block for candy at the drugstore or Archie comics at the library.
We did a walk down memory lane and walked to the drugstore.
My mom’s aunt lived just down the street
Next we went to the legislature and my dad put a poppy on the WWII memorial for his relative, Daniel Hartney, who died in Malta in WWII

Wonderful that you can share your childhood and family landmarks with your kids. Congrats to your parents on their 50th anniversary. Wow!
