Day 41 - Back to Canada Minot ND to Regina

Just past Minot, North Dakota is an area where graduating classes use white rocks to form the numbers of their graduating year. They are hard to see in the pictures but it was a fun diversion to look at them as we drove by

We came through the border without a hitch. We always get so nervous crossing, especially with our furniture packed in the back.

On our way to Regina we detoured to Roleau Saskatchewan which you may have heard of as they filmed the CBC show Corner Gas here. We stopped to show the kids where some of my ancestors were buried

Next stop was a tiny town where my dad spent his early childhood, Drinkwater. We thought since we we’re driving so close by anyway, why not stop to show the kids as we may not go this way again for a while.

Then we arrived in Regina at the house of my parent’s good friends Art and Janet. My mom was already there to greet us.

We had a nice relaxing evening and caught up. As fun as it was to be in the USA it’s also nice to be back in Canada. Tomorrow we will do a trip down memory lane in Regina where my mom grew up.
